Employee Communications Specialist

As an Employee Communications Specialist,you'llcraft communications that drive awareness and engagement in our people and culture programs. You'll also develop stories that showcase Expedia Group as a great place to work for current and prospective employees everywhere.

What you'll do:

  • Provide communication counsel to internal partners

  • Stay up to date on the latest employee communication trends

  • Write and edit content for our internal communication channels (think: newsletters, intranet articles, digital signage, etc.)

  • Support the development and execution of internal communication campaigns

  • Develop and maintain editorial calendars

  • Track metrics and report out successes and lessons learned

Who you are:

  • 1-3 years of experience in employee communications, preferably in a corporate or agency environment; experience in HR, inclusion and diversity, or CSR comms a plus

  • Outstanding writing and editing skills as well as familiarity with AP Style

  • Awareness of employee communication trends and/or current news and events

  • Ability to adapt writing for various communication channels, including video, email, Slack, digital signage

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet tight deadlines, and solve problems

  • Ability to synthesize data into logical conclusions and recommendations

The total cash range for this position in New York is $67,500 to $94,500. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $108,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $65,500 to $92,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $105,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $65,500.00 to $92,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $105,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
