We are searching for a Talent Acquisition Manager within our EMEA Commercial & Functions Recruitment Team, to lead a team of recruiters that deliver talent for client groups across Expedia Group. This individual will also be responsible for finding great talent themselves, for select roles across the region.

You will work directly with Senior Business Leaders, partner across the People Team, and drive quality hires for positions at various levels, alongside your team.  

Who you are:

  • Leadership experience i.e. leading and/or mentoring teams
  • Familiarity with a highly matrixed environment
  • Commercial & Functions recruitment experience preferred
  • Ability to influence hiring managers by providing value-added recruiting advice and insights
  • Ability to comprehensively understand the business strategy and connect it to a talent strategy
  • Capacity to anticipate future talent needs of the organization and build a steady stream of prospective talent
  • Ability to understand an organization's business model, operations, financial goals, and competitive position
  • Exceptional networking and candidate engagement skills
  • Possess strong skills related to all aspects of a full-cycle recruiting process
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including being able to prioritize workload based on business needs

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with your manager to define and drive the recruitment strategy for certain client groups across Expedia Group e.g. Corporate Functions and Marketing
  • Manage team members (mixture of recruiters and recruitment coordinators), including goal setting and performance management
  • Evaluate headcount execution against forecast for your key client group/s
  • Drive operational excellence within the team and implement process improvements
  • Build and implement sourcing strategies within the team, for the business to meet current demand and to build a pipeline for future roles
  • Recruit for a small number of roles yourself, covering all aspects of a full-cycle recruiting process while effectively using Expedia’s guidelines, systems, and tools
  • Ensure that business leaders prioritize position requirements and make trade-offs by using solid judgment in balancing quality and speed when filling requisitions
  • Use current online web technologies to locate, engage, and attract prospective candidates
  • Identify the top-performing employees at talent competitors and use the right messages to reach high-quality candidates
  • Build relationships with passive candidates and articulate the Expedia brand to create a compelling story and gain interest
  • Assess applicant/candidate quality, skills, and fit to find the best suited person for a position
  • Maintain effective relationships with candidates through the recruiting process including negotiating offers
  • Act as ambassador of Expedia, demonstrating and articulating our values, culture, work environment, business strategies, benefits, and other areas of interest.
  • Act as an advisor to partners concerning labor market conditions
