Media Buying Specialist – Media Team – EMEA

Expedia Group Media is a media buying organization, on a mission to power global travel for everyone, everywhere. As we continue to expand our services and responsibilities, we are seeking a hard working and diligent Media Buyer to join us at a pivotal time in our voyage. You are proactive and diligent who thrives in a fast paced setting, collaborating across an international team. You will play an integral role in managing the TV and BVOD buys for the UK market, alongside buys for other media (Radio, OOH, Cinema)

What you’ll do:

  • Manage the monthly UK TV and BVOD media buys directly with Saleshouses (we buy media in-house, not via an agency)

  • Send campaign approvals across in Caria

  • Liaise with creative teams on copy instructions, station lists and specs

  • Set up the campaign on Media Explorer, and download the spots times each day to manage delivery

  • Manage turnarounds with Saleshouses

  • Manage media buys in France and Germany across TV, BVOD, Radio, OOH and Cinema

  • Send monthly PCAs to internal Comms Planning team

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience

  • 1-2 years of buying experience at a media agency buying TV and BVOD campaigns

  • Strong experience using Media Explorer (DS Media) and TechEdge

  • Proactive, attention to detail, results-oriented problem solver, meets timelines

  • Strong analytical skill set

  • Highly collaborative, with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with Brands, EG Media leads, Finance, and vendors

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written

  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office in Excel and PowerPoint
