Product Strategy & Insights Manager

To help fulfill this purpose, we are seeking a product strategy & insights manager who will bring a holistic view of the market and our partner needs to product teams. This role sits within our fast-moving Marketplace organization and plays a key role in shaping the product strategy and ensuring we have product/market fit.  

In this unique role, you will think creatively and analytically to drive plans around marketplace health, product adoption, and value creation for our partners.  

Who you are:  

  • 5+ years' experience in product, strategy, analytics, or management consulting  

  • Experience working within a global organization, bonus if in B2B technology or for a platform company  

  • An excellent critical thinker and problem solver with experience translating customer, market, industry, experience data, and site or app data into actionable insights 

  • Ability to drive, contribute to, and communicate recommendations to solve technical product challenges  

  • Experience providing thought leadership and influencing stakeholders based on data 

  • Experiencing evaluating product/market fit and identifying opportunities for growth  

What you'll do:  

  • Sitting on the Partner Product team within the Marketplace organization, this role supports Expedia Group partners such as vacation rental homeowners, hoteliers, software providers, and more  

  • You will partner with product, experience design, research, and analytics to drive new product innovations or evolutions to current experiences  

  • You will ensure product teams have the insights they need to build products that solve partner and market needs  

  • You will use insights to inform the go-to-market strategy, messaging, and positioning  

  • You will ensure our products have product/market fit by sourcing insights from our customers and the market 

  • You will develop repeatable frameworks that can be used to gain insights, define key segments, forecast adoption, and measure product/market fit
