Sales Promotions Program Manager
Are you an innovative, strategic and business-savvy leader, with master project management skills, looking to join a team at the forefront of travel?
We are looking for a goal driven, highly-motivated, passionate self-starter to lead the execution of Expedia Cruises’ exclusive sales promotions. This individual will play a critical role in bringing internal and external teams together to plan, develop and execute on sales promotions across our 250+ stores across North America and online.
What you’ll do:
Provides leadership and unifies departments around sales promotions initiatives
Creates and manages project plans to execute on sales promotions to drive marketing and sales revenue
Acts as the subject matter expert on executing successful sales promotions for Franchisees & Vacation Consultants
Communicates the top promotions opportunities to Franchisees & Vacation Consultants in order to support their execution of sales promotions
Project manages sales promotions
Develops project plans, defines timeframes, and prioritizes tasks in order to achieve project milestones
Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing and Supply Teams to lead execution of sales promotions
Monitors progress to meet promotions milestones, timelines, specifications & requirements
Leads cross-functional weekly promotions status update meetings for everyone to report on progress of the promotions between project stakeholders, and to troubleshoot any issues
Works with the Finance & Data Analytics team to track KPI/metrics of promotions and communicates results
Facilitates post promotion meetings with internal and external stakeholders and creates post promotion reports
Update the required documentation/project management documents to keep the promotions team up-to-date
Support the development, project management and execution of the full year’s promotions plan
Promotions Program Management
Works cross-functionally to create support & sales engagement tools and programs for each promotion including but not limited to support kits, sales aids, call lists, training videos, incentives and challenges, etc.
Manages and executes the communications to Franchisees and Consultants to increase engagement in promotions
Works with the sales enablement team to analyze the effectiveness of sales engagement programs in relation to promotions and make recommendations for continuous improvement
Creates and maintains documentation and training for executing promotions and sales events for Franchisees and Consultants
Collect best practices and tips from Franchisees, Consultants, Supply Partners and other stakeholders on the execution of promotions
Drives promotions sales events strategy with Franchisees & Consultants and leads the execution of Corporate virtual sales events
Trains new Franchisees on executing promotions
Trains & communicates to Franchisees and Consultants on promotion strategy and best practices through various communication and learning platforms throughout the year (conference, virtual calls, webinars, etc.)
Ensure the Resource Center and other B2B platforms are up-to-date with information necessary for Franchisees & Consultants to successfully execute promotions
Works cross functionally with Franchise Performance Coaches to drive promotions engagement at the store level
Who you are:
Bachelor’s or Master's in Business Administration, Marketing or Sales; or equivalent related professional experience
A minimum 2 years of experience in sales, marketing or communications
Experience managing multiple projects of all sizes
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel & Word)
A natural knack for rallying others around common goals and exceeding expectations
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Experience successfully managing multiple projects at one-time
The ability to effectively collaborate across multiple departments
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Top notch critical thinking and problem solving skills
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously, constantly seeking improvement and looking forward
Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities
Previous marketing or sales experience, preferably in the travel industry
Ability to travel when needed (primarily Canada and the United States)
Be productive within a flexible working arrangement of home-based office and onsite office, splitting your time equally between both
