Expedia's Global Compensation Team has an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Global Compensation Manager.

What You'll Do:

•Advises key stakeholders by continuously helping them to successfully navigate through critical business changes.
• Utilizes deep expertise and contextual awareness to explore complex issues with customers and provide trusted advice.
• Serves as a subject matter expert to others on new ideas and solutions that will improve current business processes and address challenges, and leverages other subject matter experts as needed to develop solutions.
• Educates others about the HR technical area as a subject matter expert and leverages knowledge to lead problem-solving efforts in order to improve performance.
• Directs and manages large-scale process and system initiatives requiring advanced technical knowledge in specialized HR area in order to consistently drive efficient and effective solutions.
• Applies deep HR best practice knowledge and experience to plan for the future and solve complex issues and across the HR function.
• Prioritizes multiple project plans, making final decisions about priorities, timing and resources.
• Keeps abreast of the progress of multiple projects within a program or across the department; coaches project managers to adjust priorities or timelines as needed.
• Utilizes knowledge of the business and financial impact of decisions/solutions to drive high-impact projects that support the organization and contribute to financial performance.
• Demonstrates subject matter expertise in current laws, controls and regulatory requirements framework and structure.
• Recommends internal controls necessary to properly mitigate complex legal and regulatory risks and resolve noncompliance issues.
• Utilizes deep knowledge of particular program areas to develop, implement and administer compensation programs and elements, such as short-and long-term incentives, sales incentives and commissions.
• Guides customers and key stakeholders on selection and application of industry products/services, enabling them with the proper tools, resources and knowledge for successful implementation.

Who You Are:

• An influential individual contributor who is expert in employee compensation capability. Leads and improves compensation practices while also actively contributing to the design and development of key compensation products. A Trusted partner that coaches Business Partners on Talent matters and regularly interfaces with executive (VP/SVP+) leadership.

Bachelor's or master’s or equivalent experience

Strong customer service and partnership focus.

• Knowledge of compensation processes, tools and best practices.
• Ability to manipulate, analyze, draw insights from and make compensation recommendations from large data sets.
• Organized and detail oriented with ability to work independently, and effectively lead people and processes.
• Continuous improvement 'process focus thinking' mindset.
