Senior Analyst, Risk and Compliance

The Senior Analyst will perform tactical execution of governance activities related to risk, control, and compliance management across assigned division. This individual will acquire an understanding of how the division functions and operates, as part of the larger organization, and apply critical thinking and technical knowledge to uncover and manage risks and mitigation strategies.

What you’ll do: 

  • Own the relationship between Controllership and key business stakeholders
  • Review processes, risk, controls and compliance against regulations and leading practice or industry frameworks, and assess capability maturity, identify gaps in design and execution, and communicate issues and recommendations to business partners and senior management
  • Review pertinent process and control documentation to support process owners with their responsibility for optimized control design
  • Critically evaluate current control environments and recommend ways to rationalize and optimize controls through automation
  • Communicate, develop, and foster strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organization

Who you are: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related professional experience
  • 3-4 years of audit, IT audit, risk, and/or compliance experience including cloud risk and controls or other relevant experience executing enterprise risk management or assurance functions
  • CIA, CISA, CRISC or similar certification a plus
  • Able to partner across the organization (Internal Audit, SOX Compliance, Information Security, technical, operations teams)
  • Strong risk management and audit skills
  • Strong IT technical skills including application/database/cloud security
  • Strong DevOps/AWS experience is a plus
  • Must be detailed oriented; able to work independently and collaborate with other divisions across EG
  • Self-motivated and curiosity to learn
