Expedia is looking for a Technical Product Manager to join the Transport Operations Technology team to equip the teams with detailed technical requirements to build high-quality products and services and support the Global Connectivity & Partner Solutions team. E4B is the B2B division inside the world's biggest travel company. We build technology that helps millions of travelers to find flawless experiences at the right time for their next unforgettable trip. The Global Connectivity & Partner Solutions (GCPS) mission is to provide the most accurate Ground Transport, Air, and Activities supply partner content and pricing from our large supplier partners for world travellers and demand partners through the EG Travel Platform. In our day-to-day operations, GCPS Connectivity & Operations processes, stores, manages, and configures our supplier partners’ content, as well as transactional revenue and payment data which is consumed by downstream travel platform stakeholders (internal and external).

E4B believes that best-in-class tools will further strengthen STP Connectivity & Operations’ ability to support our supplier partners and guarantee the best transportation options. E4B aims to keep evolving our partner operations toolset and data capabilities to take our partner operations function to the next level.

What you'll do:

  • You are the Product Owner of the Transport Operations Technology team

  • Gather and evaluate requirements from business owners, analytics and other product managers, while working closely within the development teams to translate into technical requirements

  • You are responsible for ensuring business requirements are met whilst working closely with the team to consider factors such as scalability, reliability, security and performance

  • You will establish success metrics pre and post-launch and apply takeaways to future work

  • You will work closely with engineering teams, product teams and UX designers to understand requirements, research and document potential solutions

  • You will actively contribute to our team's identity, having fun together and adopting change

  • You will help the team implement and follow best SDLC practices following agile methodologies

Who You Are :

  • You have strong technical product management or program management experience

  • You love solving sophisticated problems whilst collaborating with a wide range of teams

  • You can take complex business problems and break them down into simple and elegant solutions

  • You have strong knowledge executing and implementing agile development methodologies

  • You are a good communicator (oral/written)

  • You have experience defining and working with scalable, resilient and secure systems

  • Experience working with SQL, React, Phyton, XML, Java/JavaScript, cloudbased technologies, internet protocols and APIs

  • You enjoy working across teams to drive the implementation of new features as well as resolve operational issues, you champion and foster change

  • A positive leader and thinker, that brings people together to build collaboratively in a lean and fast paced environment

  • A bar-raiser, curious and passionate, with a desire to continuously learn more, which builds an outstanding engineering organization
