Data Engineer II (BI)

EG Cost Platform team is looking for a highly motivated, self-driven, and experienced Data Engineer to join the dynamic team and drive the development and maintenance of our Cloud data platform.You will be working on designing & Implementing the Visualisation layer, Data Pipelines, collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders to evolve the cost platform, and implement solutions to support strategic and tactical team needs.

What you’ll do:

• You will be a part of our development team and actively participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, development, testing and roll-out, and support

• You will be primarily responsible for maintaining visualisation layer developing & optimising BI dashboards

• Influence partners and stakeholders through communicating across various levels of the organization using Data Driven approach.

• You will be involved in design, build, and maintain Data Pipeline and Data Products

• You will drive data investigations across organizations to deliver a resolution of technical, procedural, and operational issues

Who you are:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering Projects

• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries

• Proven experience in designing and building BI reports and dashboard using Tableau/Kibana

• Experience in AWS is required.

• Ability to analyse and identify pattern from data to manage users queries efficiently

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Experience in building data pipeline using PySpark/Scala, exposure to Big data and cloud ecosystem will be a huge plus

• Experience in Cloud-FinOps will be a huge plus
