Senior Partner Enablement Manager

Are you an experienced learning content developer with strong B2B marketing skills? Are you passionate about putting yourself in the shoes of the customer? Are you a strategic thinker who can bring an ambitious vision to life? Expedia Private Label Solutions is seeking a Senior Partner Enablement Manager to join the marketing team. In this role, you will support our strategic business initiative to drive engagement and grow bookings within our travel agent partner base. As part of this role, you will own our partner communication and training hub, the Expedia TAAP Academy. The aim for the Expedia TAAP Academy is to educate our 38,000+ travel agency partners on how to get the most out of the Expedia TAAP booking tool as well as provide them with the knowledge and skills to support their professional and personal development.
In this role, you will be responsible for owning and delivering the Expedia TAAP Academy strategy end-to-end. You will build out the vision for future Expedia TAAP Academy feature developments and the strategy for how to boost agent engagement with the aim of evolving the Expedia TAAP Academy into a market-leading resource for our travel agency partners across 32 countries.

What you’ll do:

Responsibilities: There are three main areas of responsibility for this role:

Academy strategy:

  • Work with key stakeholders to build out and execute on the Expedia TAAP Academy strategy, working towards our vision of creating a market-leading training and knowledge hub for our partners.
  • Evaluate the best technology stack to use as the TAAP Academy evolves.
  • Partner with tech/product to build new TAAP Academy website features.
  • Lead the creation of localised content and the go-to-market strategy in countries worldwide.

Online training and learning content creation:

  • Write, design and build interactive, engaging learning content that inspires and empowers partners.
  • Design a variety of training materials such as interactive modules, guides, quizzes and videos.
  • Comfortable using content authoring software, graphics, video and other multimedia formats.
  • Build a series of joined-up learning pathways within the TAAP Academy eg. for partner onboarding, with associated certification.

Partner engagement:

  • To ensure we meet our Expedia TAAP Academy partner engagement KPIs, you will use your B2B marketing skills to evangelise the Academy to our partner base and devise strategies to increase usage. KPIs will be connected to the number of monthly active users; average bookings per agent and associated booking value.
  • Work to continuously improve the design, content and UX of the TAAP Academy, following an iterative ‘test and learn’ approach.
  • Partner with product, tech, sales and marketing to ensure the TAAP Academy is optimally integrated across all partner touch points.
  • Work with the TAAP commercial team to create initiatives to increase engagement to the TAAP Academy.
  • Prepare reports and analysis of TAAP Academy usage data, including monitoring and evaluating course or program effectiveness. You will recommend and action changes to continuously improve the TAAP Academy.
  • Own content development for the Expedia TAAP website help centre.

  • You are a great storyteller and strong copywriter. Able to curate and deliver authentic and compelling stories and build narrative around products and initiatives to improve the connection and relevance to external partners.
  • You have a bias towards action. You enjoy acting with urgency, able to analyse information, provide clarity back to the business and take responsibility for outcomes; identify and remove barriers, focused on continuous improvement and delivering results.
  • You can simplify. You break learning down into manageable pieces; convey, receive and interpret ideas and present tailored information to a diverse range of audiences.
  • You are passionate about understanding partners and their businesses and are commercially-minded.
  • You are comfortable working independently in a lean, entrepreneurial, ambiguous environment.
  • You effectively influence and gain cooperation of peers / stakeholders, and conduct presentations to senior leaders.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organization. You can juggle multiple priorities at the same time to deliver high quality projects within agreed timeframes.
  • You communicate openly and honestly at all levels. You surface and resolve difficult issues quickly.

Experience and qualifications:

  • 6+ years experience in B2B partner marketing
  • 3+ years experience in learning content creation
  • Experience leading company-wide projects end-to-end in a large organization
