Tell us about your team and your role.
I’m part of the Partner Growth & Agility team and we focus on boosting hotel competitiveness across the North America region. That means making sure our hotel partners are fully open, visible, and offering competitive rates for global travelers. A big part of my role is to partner with Market Managers and cross-functional teams, like Connectivity, to ensure hotel listings are optimized and ready to perform, Year-over-Year. By helping partners address challenges and improve their offerings, we keep our portfolio healthy and optimized, directly supporting global travel.
This was my first role after graduating from college, and it has been a tremendous first step in my career. I have been able to break into an industry that is constantly evolving, where there is always something new to learn. My role is impactful both for our hotel partners – supporting them to grow their business on Expedia through strong visibility, healthy pricing, and Year-over-Year production – and for travelers, who benefit from the availability and rates we strive to deliver behind the scenes every day. In this role I have learned how dynamic the travel industry is. Demand shifts with seasonality, compressed stay dates, and events that drive sudden spikes in demand. And I’ve seen how crucial it is to react quickly so that partners stay competitive and travelers continue to see great options on our sites.
How did your college experience help to prepare you for working at Expedia Group?
[College attended: The University of Texas at Austin | Graduated: in Spring 2025 | Major: BBA in Marketing | Minor: in International Business]
Through business courses in marketing, strategy, and operations, I learned how companies think about growth, pricing, and competitiveness, which directly connects to helping our hotel partners stay visible and offer compelling rates to travelers. Working on case studies taught me how to analyze data, spot opportunities in a portfolio, and make recommendations that balance customer needs with business outcomes – very similar to how I work with cross-functional teams to optimize performance across our Expedia lodging portfolio. College pushed me to stay agile: testing ideas, iterating quickly, and being comfortable making decisions with a team. And it’s this critical thinking and collaborative problem-solving I now rely each day.
How has being on the Graduate Program contributed to your experience at EG?

Being on the Graduate Program has really shaped my experience at EG in a positive way. Starting alongside a cohort of talented graduates meant I had an immediate support network as I stepped into a new role and industry. We learn together, share knowledge, and celebrate each other’s wins, which has made it easier to build confidence and ask questions. The combination of structured learning, exposure to meaningful projects from day one, and the friendships that come from socials and everyday collaboration has made EG feel like a community, not just a workplace.
What is an accomplishment you’re proud of?
A project that I’m proud of is a pilot my team had which focused on a LATM-Mexico portfolio that needed support to stay competitive. We partnered closely with Market Managers to identify properties that were possibly at risk of losing competitiveness within their market share, using data on visibility, pricing, and compressed-date demand to pinpoint where support was needed most. From there, we prioritized a group of properties, developed tailored insights and recommendations to optimize rates, availability, and content. The pilot led to improvements in hotel competitiveness, and it gave me the experience of using data, influencing stakeholders, and managing a diverse portfolio in a new market.
Why would you recommend a career at EG?
I would recommend a career at EG, especially through the Graduate Program, because it’s a place where you can grow quickly, make meaningful impact, and be surrounded by people who truly live the EG values. From day one, I’ve had opportunities to take on meaningful work, learn from talented colleagues and see the real impact of what I do. What makes EG unique is that you’re not just building your career, you are given a space to learn and build confidence, all while contributing to global travel.
