We’re looking for a dynamic commercial leader who thrives on data, loves a challenge, and is ready to shape the future of global mobility partnerships.

As Director, Commercial Partnerships at Expedia Group, you’ll own a portfolio of high-impact partnerships with the world’s leading car rental brands, steering strategy, driving performance, and unlocking new revenue streams. You’ll blend analytical precision with entrepreneurial flair, using insights and data to influence decisions, negotiate transformative deals, and deliver results that move the market.
This is a role for someone who sees numbers not just as metrics but as the story behind growth, performance, and opportunity.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead with Data: Own the commercial performance of a strategic global partner portfolio. Use analytics, forecasting, and market insights to drive smarter decisions and outperform the competition.

  • Drive Growth Through Insight: Turn data into action, optimising performance across B2C and B2B channels to deliver sustainable growth and long-term value.

  • Negotiate with Impact: Lead complex, high-stakes negotiations backed by strong commercial reasoning and financial modelling to deliver innovative, win–win outcomes.

  • Shape the Market: Identify emerging technologies, evolving traveller behaviours, and market dynamics, translating them into forward-thinking strategies for Expedia Group and our partners.

  • Champion Partner Success: Be the voice of the partner inside Expedia Group, ensuring their feedback and insights help shape our next generation of products, technology, and supply strategy.

  • Collaborate for Scale: Work cross-functionally with product, finance, legal, and operations teams to transform strategic ideas into executable, measurable outcomes.

  • Inspire and Influence: Lead by example, mentoring talent, fostering innovation, and building a culture that celebrates data-led decision making and accountability.


What You Bring

  • A data-first mindset that turns numbers into strategy and insights into action.

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial partnerships or business development within travel, mobility, or another fast-paced global industry.

  • Proven success leading complex negotiations, managing high-value accounts, and influencing senior stakeholders to drive measurable business impact.

  • Strong financial and analytical acumen with the ability to assess performance, forecast outcomes, and identify growth opportunities.

  • A strategic thinker who’s hands-on when it matters, able to navigate complexity, solve problems, and deliver results in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, capable of engaging and inspiring at every level.

  • A trusted relationship builder who thrives on collaboration and builds credibility quickly across teams and cultures.

  • Tech-savvy and commercially fluent, confident using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) to drive insights and streamline execution.

  • Fluency in English required; additional European languages are a strong plus.
