Introduction to the team

Connectivity Analytics team within Expedia Group’s Yield & Analytics organization serves as Business and Product Analytics specialists for our Supply Connectivity teams across Lodging, Air and Car. We transform data into clear, actionable insight across commercial and technical KPIs, develop processes to address complex business challenges, and identify growth.

If you are looking to play a crucial role in driving analytics, identifying trends and solving business problems in collaboration with various teams, then this is the role for you!

In this role you will

• Lead end-to-end analytics projects (scoping, data engineering, analysis, visualization, delivery) that drive measurable business improvements

• Build reliable, repeatable datasets and pipelines from multiple sources using SQL and scripting languages (Python)

• Create clear, persuasive visualizations and interactive dashboards for both technical and non-technical audiences (Tableau, Looker, etc.)

• Automate recurring reports, monitor data quality, and optimize query performance

• Introduce and operationalize AI/LLM tools to enhance productivity (e.g. code generation, report automation, insights summarization)

Experience and qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Mathematics, Science, Statistics or a related Technical field; or equivalent related professional experience

• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience in using Python (or similar programming languages)

• Exeperience combining data sources, building reusable datasets, and applying performance and quality best practices

• Strong experience in dashboarding (Tableau)

• Familiarity with applied statistics and basic machine learning concepts

• Demonstrated analytical problem-solving ability, ownership of outcomes, and a proactive, solution-oriented attitude

• Excellent storytelling skills; ability to translate analysis into clear recommendations; strong stakeholder management; adept at simplifying complex concepts for non-technical audiences

• Experience using AI capabilities to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and improve productivity across projects
