By joining Expedia Group as a Legal Intern, you’ll work on meaningful projects and be a part of a supportive culture of inclusivity and impact. You’ll have the opportunity to choose 3 rotation practice areas (examples of practice areas include commercial contracts, privacy, advertising law, real estate law, employment law), whilst gaining a well-rounded experience from our in-house lawyers and paralegals who support all legal aspects at Expedia Group globally.

About the Internship Program:

  • Location: you will join our Expedia Group Legal & Corporate Affairs (ELCA) team based in London

  • Orientation: onboarding with introduction to legal practice areas and an introduction to Expedia Group

  • Support: continuous coaching and advice, provided by a dedicated manager

  • Leadership Series: Exclusive intern-only events with some of our Travel Leadership Team leaders to learn about their career journeys, hear their views on industry and company trends and ask questions!

  • Learning Series: Interactive workshops delivered by our Learning team to build professional & soft skills, and support development

  • Social events: Regular fun events organized for each regional cohort so you can get to know others, enjoy the Expedia Group culture, and enjoy some downtime!

  • Project work: as an intern you will enjoy a great level of responsibility and complete incredible projects

What You’ll Do:

You’ll work with our in-house lawyers and paralegals on projects to gain greater understanding of the legal concerns in your chosen areas.

You will work on a variety of matters, which may include:

  • Analysing current industry issues and participating in analysis of issues with stakeholders

  • Learning about and engaging in review of legal advice in your chosen area, which can include review of contractual issues, legal research and formulating a legal risk assessment

  • Assisting in preparing reports, presentations, and other internal or external documents

  • You’ll engage with the global ELCA team providing you with international experience

Who You Are:

The selected candidate will preferably meet the following criteria:

  • Must be available to commit to the full program dates: 22nd June- 11th September 2026 for a 12-week internship

  • Must be eligible to work in the UK where the internship takes place.

  • Must be a 2026 graduate with a Bachelors degree focused on law or a Graduate Diploma of Law

  • Must have no more than 0-1 years of professional experience in a similar role 

  • Must be curious and keen to learn how to work in a fast-paced travel technology company and discover the various roles in-house lawyers play

  • Helpful to have effective communication skills and the ability to engage with a variety of partners (e.g., internal, external, technical, non-technical people)   

  • Helpful to have writing and comprehension skills to synthesise and condense large amounts of information in a concise and structured way 

  • Helpful to have a passion for law and its impact on technology  

  • Helpful to show an understanding of trends in travel and technology, and challenges that technology platforms can face
