Manager, Supply Business Programs
Expedia Group Business to Business (EG B2B) partners with enterprises such as travel agencies, airlines, financial institutions, membership organizations and travel management companies to provide them with access to the Expedia Group travel inventory. We equip our partners with the right data, tools and technology that empowers them to build their business and maximize their potential.
Do you want a highly impactful role within a team that is growing fast? As part of the Commercial Operations & Partner Experience team within EG B2B, you’ll be working on the rollout and growth of strategic supply initiatives for our B2B distribution partners. The Manager, Supply Business Programs will be involved in optimizing all inventory contracted, run, or ingested by Expedia Group’s Supply Partners and consumed by EG B2B Partners, with a strong focus on improving our B2B competitiveness and launching new types of supply as well as other distribution initiatives.
If you bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with a passion for tangible results, this role is for you! We are looking for a candidate with a ‘hands on’ attitude, willing to go deep in execution and operational matters, while maintaining an integrated and strategic overview.
This position will report to the Director, Commercial Operations & Partner Experience. The position will be based in Madrid or London. Relocation is not available.
What you'll do:
- Identify, frame and prioritize supply distribution opportunities in a structured & analytical way. Clearly communicate options, risks, and trade-offs.
- Own and lead the operationalization of said initiatives. Acquire consensus & commitment from key business partners and various teams involved in execution. Engage & collaborate with all relevant stakeholders (including Supply teams, Product & Tech, Analytics, Finance, Marketing...)
- Define and track KPIs to measure program success and impact on business performance, recommend and implement corrective actions, to key stakeholders and senior EG B2B leadership.
- Support EG B2B commercial teams in all aspect of supply distribution operations, including equipping them will all relevant resources (pitch material, performance tracking, decision frameworks, …)
- Promote an environment where teamwork (both within the team and across the organization), open communication, engagement, continuous improvement and diversity of thought are not only maintained but constantly improved.
- Other reasonable duties, as assigned.
Who you are:
- 5+ years’ experience in strategy consulting and / or similar role in a leading technology company; MBA a plus
- Demonstrated ability to strategize, craft and implement bold goals
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and execution skills
- Results-oriented, appetite for driving business impact
- Outstanding communication and influencing skills
- Able to work effectively in a complex, diverse, changing environment. Adapts well and is energized by change
- Works to understand both internal and external stakeholder needs and develops plans to meet them
- Strong teammate, ability to act as one team
