Senior Consumer Insights Manager – Brand Lead

We create and deliver an aligned, dedicated marketing strategy to fuel each Expedia Group brand's success. Since our travelers interact with us through our brands, we have a brand focus in our marketing, while leveraging the scale and efficiency we’ve built in functional expertise.

Expedia Group’s Traveler Research and Insights Team is seeking a Senior Consumer Insights Manager to help build traveler-centric brands through strategic research and actionable insights.

As a Senior Consumer Insights Manager, you will be the strategic insights lead for one of our flagship brands within our house of brands. You’ll partner closely with marketing, creative, and cross-functional teams to ensure brand strategies, communications, and experiences are rooted in traveler truths. This role is pivotal in shaping how our brands connect with travelers and drive business impact.

In this role, you will:

  • Represent traveler needs across brand forums and strategic initiatives

  • Develop and execute a research roadmap aligned with brand and business priorities

  • Manage brand health, track creative testing, and campaign effectiveness

  • Bridge brand marketing and central research teams to translate needs into actionable learning plans

  • Apply insights to brand strategy, creative development, and marketing activation

  • Integrate measurement outputs to explain the why behind performance metrics

  • Deliver compelling data-driven narratives that influence business decisions

  • Partner across marketing, UX, loyalty, analytics, and product teams, and build trust with senior leaders

  • Oversee external research partners and champion innovative methodologies

  • Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of curiosity and excellence

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in consumer research and insights, ideally across both agency and client-side roles

  • Proven expertise in brand and campaign measurement, creative testing, and strategic research

  • Skilled in qualitative and quantitative methodologies, including social listening and sentiment analysis

  • Strong communicator with the ability to craft clear, engaging stories from complex data

  • Experienced in influencing cross-functional teams and senior leadership

  • Comfortable navigating a fast-paced, global organization with evolving priorities

  • Excellent project manager with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams and maintain attention to detail

  • Passionate about travelers and committed to building brands that resonate deeply with their needs

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $155,000.00 to $217,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $248,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
