Role Summary Senior Analyst level role in Treasury to utilize solid knowledge of treasury basics, economic principles, and financial reporting practices to independently drive execution of operations and projects to, perform analysis, and reporting and insights on data, process improvements, enhance operations. Experience 2+ years for Bachelor's 0-2 years for Master's Education Bachelor's or Master's or equivalent experience. Functional/ Technical Skills Knowledge of financial Markets. Advanced Excel modeling skills. PowerPoint presentation creation and review. Technical Skills - Bloomberg, other systems. Role Expectations • Utilizes resources to complete advanced tasks; tracks own efficiency using reports and tools. • Distinguishes between advanced activities and tasks that add differing levels of value; begins to determine solid potential improvements to impact quality. • Demonstrates solid attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset; double-checks accuracy of own output to ensure high quality delivery. • Acquires solid knowledge of specific security types and trading mechanisms. • Builds solid understanding of financial markets through research. • Researches broader information about current funding, investment, and advisory services rates, summarizing results. • Acquires solid knowledge of systems and databases by completing routine responsibilities. • Completes routine activities by using financial systems and technologies. • Completes solid quality review checks on data using assigned systems. • Seeks relevant information to ensure own understanding of complex information. • Assists team members in the creation of routine technical communication materials (e.g., policies & procedures, guidelines, presentations, messages). • Develops a solid understanding of the different audience groups in the business unit/function that receive technical communications and how they differ from each other. • Acquires and demonstrates a solid understanding of how the department operates and fits into the larger organization. • Demonstrates solid awareness of the policies, practices, trends and information that impact the organization and its customers. • Demonstrates solid understanding of the financial impact of decisions/solutions on the organization and its customers. • Develops a solid knowledge base of asset classes (equities, bonds and cash) and the company’s tolerance for risk. • Develops a solid knowledge base of portfolio management and learns how to construct an asset mix that provides optimal balance between expected risk and return. • Develops a solid knowledge base of regulatory, accounting and governance requirements. • Reviews overarching project timeline and develops a schedule of tasks to achieve project milestones. • Works with more experienced team members to help identify all resources required to support any project. • Keeps relevant stakeholders informed of key progress toward, or significant changes to, task timing that impacts the project schedule. • Solid understanding of the application of basic economic and financial reporting principles and practices. • Solid understanding of current economic market and financial trends by reviewing industry or trade publications. • Assists others and practices in preparing financial statements as well as reporting data. • Understanding of key financial issues and how to monitor financial status of the organization. • Develops a solid knowledgebase of various funding approaches and the basic advantages and disadvantages of each. • Provides consistent and solid support by researching financing alternatives and their pros/cons. Understands key performance indicators related to own work and the importance of solid metrics in defining success (e.g., efficiency and effectiveness). • Demonstrates solid awareness of requirements related to financial modeling. • Develops solid understanding of the principles behind developing basic financial models by assisting others with the creation of basic financial models. • Develops solid understanding of the company’s design tools by assisting with the implementation of financial models.
