As a Technical Program Manager III, you will drive complex technical programs that enable data-driven insights for our lodging partners. You will coordinate across multiple teams, proactively identify risks, and ensure the successful delivery of initiatives that leverage big data processing and backend services. This role requires strong communication, organisational skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while fostering collaboration in a fast-paced, agile environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage technical projects that span backend service development, big data processing, and API exposure
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and data science teams to define scope, requirements, success metrics, and technical design
- Develop and maintain project schedules, prioritize tasks, and track progress toward milestones
- Proactively identify risks and lead mitigation planning to ensure timely delivery
- Run Agile ceremonies and mentor teams on best practices
- Triage internal support requests
- Coordinate stakeholders across global teams to align on objectives and resolve dependencies proactively
- Monitor resource allocation for assigned projects
- Drive process improvements and identify opportunities to streamline workflows across organizational boundaries
- Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
Experience and Qualifications:
- 4–6 years in technical program or project management in software development, preferably in data-driven environments
- Demonstrated technical depth with strong engineering fundamentals, including the ability to understand code, contribute to design reviews, and ideally prior hands-on software engineering experience
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities
- Analytical mindset for assessing bottlenecks and improving processes
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in technology or program management
