Acquisition Program Analyst

We are looking for a Manager of our Outsourced Listing Acquisition programs to dive in and guide the strategy for the Acquisition leadership team.  If you enjoy delivering results, being collaborative, and have a high level of intellectual curiosity, then join this dynamic and growing team!   

What you will do:   

  • You will apply technical skills to extract data from various sources and provide clear output for decision-making around our Owner Acquisition programs.   

  • You will draw out key business insights and provide practical recommendations   

  • You will present findings and insights via presentations and meetings to facilitate informed decision-making for innovative programs around Owner Acquisition   

  • You will provide a weekly call center performance readout (Main Operational Metrics and results)   

  • You will own the evolution of our fast start program by finding opportunities to acquire further supply not currently listed with Vrbo   

  • Provide insights through ad-hoc analytics and modeling projects   

  • Maintain documentation on reports to drive consistency in data sources, metrics, and standard methodologies   

  • Drive modeling, testing, and implementation of analytical and reporting processes, measurement methodologies, functionality, and capabilities for the team  

  • Extracts data from multiple data sources and combine into the required datasets for model building or analytics. 

  • Applies a range of common statistical methods to business problems. 

  • Determines the ideal method for the problem considering underlying assumptions. 

  • Understands limitations of selected methods. 

  • Developed and drove significant and sustained change and performance improvement from data-driven insights. 

  • And/or built and maintained a data science project/product in production environments. 

  • Design and conduct A/B tests to assess the impact of potential partner acquisition refinements and programs like our Property Manager Readiness program  

Who you are:   

  • An established performer who consistently applies analytics capabilities, principles, and playbooks to solve business issues and opportunities, with a moderate level of guidance and direction. 

  • Bachelor's, Master's, PhD, or equivalent experience. Mathematics, Scientific, Statistics or Technical degree preferred. 

  • 3-4 years in an analyst role is required  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel   

  • Expertise with SalesForce.com, SQL, and Tableau is required, Starburst Trino experience a big plus  

  • Expertise in report building & presentation development   

  • Experienced with data validation methodologies   

  • Strong analytical, Critical thinking, conceptual, Communication and influencing, problem-solving abilities paired with good interpersonal skills, Visualization of data for impact, Programming for data and analytics and Business acumen 

  • Experience translating high-level directions into practical projects and leading/driving their completion with minimal direction  

  • Knowledge of sales and forecasting methodologies is very helpful in the role
