App Marketing Manager

Expedia Group is looking for an experienced App Marketing Manager to join our mobile marketing team. In this role, you’ll have the chance to lead Expedia Group’s mobile app campaigns on one of our largest and most dynamic paid app acquisition channels, Facebook. As one of Facebook's top global advertisers, we at Expedia Group partner closely with dedicated partner account teams to test and implement new marketing technologies before they are released to the rest of the global marketplace.

Please note that this role can be based out of our Austin, Seattle or London office.

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver best-in-class Facebook mobile app marketing through campaign implementation and optimization

  • Scale Facebook mobile app campaigns globally, across all EG brands, with adherence to ROAS targets

  • Manage the end to end execution of global campaigns across Facebook and Instagram to deliver ambitious growth targets

  • Review campaign performance and make decisions on budget allocation and optimization across brands/regions/tactics

  • Partner with Analytics team to operationalize EG Facebook mobile app campaign common measurement strategy

  • Plan, implement, analyze, and document Facebook mobile app campaign tests and insights

  • Analyze campaign performance data to provide actionable insights and business recommendations by pulling and creating data, reports, and presentations to showcase performance and provide in-depth analysis of results

  • Partner with Facebook and other social platforms to ensure Expedia Group is an early adopter of all product alphas and betas

  • Partner with creative teams, brand strategy and creative agency on creative briefs and execution to drive creative excellence and campaign performance

Who you are:

  • Experience in digital/programmatic media, specifically mobile app install campaigns in Facebook Ads Manager

  • Experience in using preferred but not required

  • Analytical mentality, including ability to manipulate data, perform financial analysis and process large amounts of data to understand trends

  • Strong communications skills (written and oral)

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment

  • Conceptualize, initiate and handle marketing tests

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (PowerPoint a plus)

  • Familiarity with various digital advertising bidding models (CPM, dCPM, CPC, CPA) and leading campaigns to ROI/ROAS performance models (experience with managing and testing campaign performance based on incremental lift measurement a plus)

  • Experience with SQL and data visualization tools such Tabelau a plus
