We are the acquisition team of B2B Marketing at Expedia Group. We focus on the acquisition of new hosts, hotels, and travel agents that power the supply side of Expedia’s marketplace brands such as Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo. We do this by running performance marketing channels including programmatic display & video, SEM/PPC, paid social, and Affiliates. 

 
We are seeking a high-performing, motivated Associate Acquisition Manager - SEM with hands-on B2B digital acquisition experience and subject matter expertise in Paid Search management  

 
We are a global team looking after the needs of multiple geographies based on changing demand signals of hosts or business managers and demand partners who visit our sites to list their properties or through our demand partners. 

 

Reporting into Manager, Acquisition Marketing and working closely with the B2B team, you’ll be responsible for planning, managing, and optimizing our SEM campaigns across multiple platforms and making them a success. 

 

What you'll do:

  • Grow EG’s vacation rentals & core lodging supply through paid acquisition with a focus on Paid Search (Google and Microsoft)

  • End to end ownership of operational initiatives behind SEM marketing campaigns including campaigns set up & tracking, optimizations, testing and analysis

  • Optimize and grow existing campaigns in your channels balancing KPIs including CAC and ROAS

  • Analyze daily SEM performance across the globe by monitoring KPIs and identifying the root causes of variance to trends or targets   

  • Lead the reporting and analyses of SEM data in the Vacation Rental/Conventional Lodging space to better understand how various brands and marketing channels impact each other

  • Develop and execute channel roadmaps, based on a continued iterative testing model 

  • Identify growth opportunities, initiating test hypotheses and prioritizing scale out of winning tests to improve SEM traffic productivity and increase return on investment

  • Create weekly and monthly performance reports of your channels based on KPIs

  • Work with internal stakeholders to influence creative and landing page experiences  

 

Who you are:  

  • Proven experience of day-to-day management of Paid Search platforms such as Google Ads and Microsoft Ads and Search Ads 360, managing a multi-million dollar budget across multiple geographies

  • Data-driven decision making, data are essential to you to support or refute hypothesis 

  • Bringing a highly analytical mindset to business problems, can-do attitude in self-servicing common analytics questions through Search Ads Reporting, Google Analytics, and Tableau  

  • Results-oriented individual with demonstrated success in driving new user acquisition or equivalent with direct sales and profitability deliverables  

  • Self-starter who is comfortable navigating through ambiguity and change 

  • Ability to self-prioritize projects based on highest impact activities

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate performance metrics, technical challenges and business opportunities to key stakeholders

  • Understanding of incrementality testing, attribution modelling and media measurement  

  • Working knowledge and familiarity with paid social platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc) and video and programmatic Platforms (Google Ads, Campaign Manager 360)

  • Previous experience managing large media campaigns across multiple time zones and managing multiple stakeholders  

  • Ideally you will speak more than one European language other than English (French, German, Italian or Spanish)
