Are you passionate about improving customer experience through deep behavioral insights? If you’re motivated about making an immediate impact on re-imaging travel by gleaning insightful recommendations that drive improvements, we want to speak to you!

We are seeking an experienced analytics professional to join our Global Product Analytics Team, supporting a brand portfolio that includes some of the world’s leading online travel brands. You’ll be joining a growing team of passionate analysts to redefine how our brands should look at Lodging Performance. You will be partnering with the Lodging Product & Technology Leadership team as well as our business performance teams to build our Customer & Platform Health Diagnostic framework, with the goal to automate as much as possible the generation of insights and enable fast decision making. Your work will focus on uncovering the reason behind performance changes, identifying trends in how the users are interacting with our product, and revealing new Product opportunities.

This will involve a broad spectrum of analytics support including investigative analyses, business modelling, and creating partner-facing dashboards from clickstream data. If you are a self-starter and have shown success in using analytics to drive the innovation and user engagement of a product, this position is for you.

What you’ll do:

  • Own metrics framework development, build accurate and easy to consume dashboards/reports for key metrics, collaborate with product team in goal setting, product performance review and strategy planning

  • Utilizing anomaly detection techniques to quickly identify areas of performance concern and proposing analyses and/or corrective actions

  • Through your expertise in data mining and analysis, apply and implement hypotheses and recommendations of things we should change, leading to experiments and ultimately improve operations

  • Prioritize asks based on the highest potential benefit, and actively drive initiatives from there.

  • Work with the broader Analytics Platform team in an Agile model to build self-service data products that will allow the business to access accurate information directly and easily

  • Participate in weekly partner meetings to ensure insight-based decision-making

Who you are:

  • 2+ years of work experience doing quantitative analysis to tackle business problems

  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to break down business scenarios into constituent parameters

  • Experience with large data sets and proficient in SQL or other programming languages (R, Python)

  • Excellent communicator to tell stories with data

  • Understanding of statistics and hypothesis testing (ex. Confidence Interval, Regressions, Time Series, Clustering, Factor Analysis)

  • Experience applying visualization tools such as building Tableau reports

  • Experience in Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics is a plus

  • Curiosity and passion for making an impact along with strong attention to detail
