What you'll do:

• Craft cohesive channel story for weekly leadership forums, including identification and measurement of key financial and operational metrics

• Recommend marketing actions and strategy that aid in achieving Expedia’s financial objectives

• Build out complex financial modeling, prepare synthesized views to drive focused discussions on marketing performance to unlock value

• Identify and implement automation that will maintain financial rigor while shifting capacity from data manipulation to high impact analysis and insights

• Responsible for integrity of channel outlook and quarterly forecast

• Develop deep understanding of marketing channel performance and financial results

• Distill complex financial data into actionable information, build financial models, analyze new trends and initiatives, and perform ad-hoc modelling to ensure timely financial insights to senior leadership

• Lead a team of 5+ finance professionals

Who you are:

• 10+ years of finance experience with growing responsibilities

• 5+ years of people management

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field; or equivalent related professional experience

• Demonstrates ability to leverage deep understanding of marketing financials

• High level of intellectual curiosity that drives sense of ownership and desire for continuous improvement

• Results driven and highly motivated, with the ability to go get what’s next

• Advanced analytic and modelling skills; ability to interpret and present data in a visually compelling format to financial and non-financial audiences

• Hyperion Planning/Essbase and SQL experience strongly preferred

• Inspires and gains the commitment of others towards the vision, mission, values, and organizational goals

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $184,500.00 to $258,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $295,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
