Executive Assistant

Are you a highly experienced administrative professional with a consistent track record of working in fast-paced, multidimensional environments? Expedia Group is looking for a high caliber Executive Assistant to provide support to Senior Leaders within the organization.  Due to the nature of business in this environment, you will have sound judgement, common sense, and a collaborative and inclusive spirit. And of course, a love for travel!

The ideal candidate is someone who has a real passion for making leaders and organizations better, through relationships, collaboration and keeping things running with great process. This position requires someone who is organized; has excellent interpersonal skills; shows initiative, and drive; and the ability to set priorities and handle multiple tasks at a time with little direction.

To be successful, you can anticipate and remove administrative roadblocks; make timely decisions; have strong planning and organizational skills; have experience with supporting Senior VP with domestic and international employees. You should be able to build effective working relationships across boundaries and accommodate work styles and perspectives of diverse individuals around the world.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide executive support to Senior VP.
  • Manage executive calendars, scheduling logistics and the rhythm of the business to meet the time management priorities and organizational performance objectives.
  • Handle planning, budget, logistics and coordination of division wide meetings.
  • Develop and lead administrative processes for a globally distributed team including but not limited to, space coordination, procurement, alias management, new/internal new hire on-boarding, and event management.
  • Attend staff meetings, take and distribute minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Exercise sound judgment, tact, diplomacy, integrity and professionalism in all transactions to include communicating and working with highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Build and maintain good business relationships with executive level and counterpart administrative staff across the organizations.

Who You Are

  • Minimum of five years of experience of relevant work in a rapidly changing environment.  Experience working for a technology company a plus.
  • Experience working with senior-level Executives, is a must.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Experience with expense reporting and travel management tools.
  • College degree in business preferred, or applicable work experience.
  • Detailed planning, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Team and customer service orientation.
  • Positive, proactive, and able to have fun at work.
