As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing aspects of financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the marketing department of Expedia. You will play a key role in driving strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and recommendations to optimize marketing investments and drive business growth.
In this role, you will:
Act as a finance partner with a deep understanding of business levers, identifying opportunities to drive value across the organization.
Distill complex financial data into impactful insights. Build financial models, analyze trends and business initiatives, and perform ad-hoc modeling as required.
Collaborate across multiple teams to create accurate forecasts, identifying and analyzing potential risks and opportunities.
Prepare and support Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), Board of Directors presentations, and Investor Relations/earnings preparation.
Partner across the organization to drive process improvements by simplifying and automating current processes.
Conduct detailed analysis and benchmarking of Expedia's portfolio of brands, products, marketing channels, etc.
Work across time zones, particularly with teams in the US and UK, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Experience and qualifications:
Experience working across time zones, particularly with teams in the US and/or UK.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage and influence stakeholders virtually.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to build relationships and drive success across teams, no matter where you are located.
Proven ability to analyze large datasets and provide actionable insights that impact business performance.
P&L management experience
Can help simplify processes - i.e., advanced reporting capabilities - can create Tableau dashboards or other visuals.. or knows how to partner with teams to create them. Advanced excel skills

Adaptable in Fast-Paced Environments: You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced settings and are comfortable working with ambiguity.
Tools & Systems Proficiency: You are highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience using Oracle, Hyperion, or similar financial planning and analysis systems.
