Financial Operations Analyst

The EPS Controllership team is seeking a creative and collaborative Financial Analyst to support a dynamic and growing business within the EPS portfolio. The EPS Controllership team empowers delivery of EPS organizational and strategic goals through financial intelligence and operational excellence. As part of the EPS Controllership team, you will be responsible for liaising with internal partners to support the rapid growth of the B2B business, processing and reviewing critical partner documentation and terms, driving continuous improvement in execution, and maintaining a customer service for all stakeholders. Additionally, you will serve as a trusted advisor, working closely with Account Managers, Product, Finance, and Technology teams as well as Expedia Group corporate departments (Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Audit, Accounts Payable, and Billing teams).


What you'll do:

  • Timely analysis and processing of contracts, amendment, and partner requests providing pre, and post processing support

  • Support EAN management team through ownership and development of processes and initiatives

  • Handle processing of marketing fees and execution of the monthly process for payment within contract and SOX guidelines

  • Research and analytics of partner, account manager, and other internal stakeholders requests

  • Participate in and lead close processes

  • Perform data analysis to evaluate existing business/operational processes; recommend effective and scalable process improvements

  • Establish strong working relationships with business partners across various teams

  • Ad-hoc projects as required

  • Other requests and duties as needed


Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field such as Accounting or Finance or equivalent related professional experience

  • 2+ years professional Accounting, Finance or Audit experience, Public Accounting experience is a plus

  • Problem solver with ability to recommend unique solutions to address problems

  • Professional “can do” work ethic, with the ability to handle many conflicting tasks

  • Phenomenal team member with big picture focus that is inspired and motivated by the development and success of others

  • Receptive and adaptive to a rapidly changing business environment while maintaining focus on key business goals and objectives

  • Advanced Excel skills with experience of handling large and complex data sets

  • Strong verbal and written communications

  • Experience with the following systems a plus: SQL Teradata, Oracle and Business Objects
