Global Benefits, Time and Absence Product Owner (Gurgaon)

The Global Benefits, Time and Absence Product Manager will work collaboratively across teams to identify, develop, manage and implement opportunities to improve the Time and Absence product. Working with business leaders and People Team to identify opportunities in how to better utilize the Time and Absence systems to resolve business or legal needs. The position will be responsible for defining the product vision and managing the product development process with responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for product planning designed to increase employee/manager productivity, drive scale and efficiency as well as improve compliance position for time and absence product

  • Define the long-term strategy and product plan that will result in improved performance including ROI. Developing program performance metrics and health scorecards, leveraging data to understand program effectiveness

  • Work with stakeholders through product development cycle to ensure features developed meet the desired business objectives

  • Partner with people tech to develop detailed technical project plans for developers and engineers to utilize for product / program creation as a result of requirement gathering

  • Monitor projects from initiation to delivery, including planning, and scheduling

  • Negotiate trade-offs between cost, schedule, and business benefit, and ensure successful delivery of set features to production that meet customer needs

  • Work with global people team to identify ways to better understand and support employee time and leave experience

  • Work to support various other global benefits program as needed

Who you are :

  • BA in computer science, information systems or related field; or equivalent related professional experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge in strategic solution delivery models to ensure products and/or services continue to innovate and to drive continuous improvement

  • Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Capable of building strong professional relationships with ability to influence all levels across the organization

  • Creative thinker with ability to identify innovative business solutions
