Job Title: Insights Manager

Role Summary:

Are you an expert storyteller who thrives on turning complex data into compelling narratives that drive strategic business decisions? Expedia’s Travel Partner and Media business is seeking an Insights Manager to play a pivotal role in analyzing structured and unstructured data and transforming insights into impactful recommendations. This role is integral to improving commercial outcomes, the partner experience and partner satisfaction.

You will work closely with your team to identify partner needs, uncover pain points and opportunities to improve commercial success, as well as partner with stakeholders to recommend improvements. With a focus on actionable storytelling, you’ll ensure insights inspire change and deliver measurable impact.

What You’ll Do:

  • Data Analysis and Insight Production:
    • Analyze structured data (e.g., operational, commercial performance) alongside unstructured data (e.g., conversations, surveys, app behavior) to uncover actionable insights.
    • Conduct advanced analytics, including sentiment analysis, trend identification, and behavior modeling, to drive strategic decisions.
  • Storytelling and Recommendations:
    • Craft clear, evidence-based narratives that connect insights to business opportunities, including revenue growth, cost savings, and partner satisfaction improvements.
    • Present insights through visually compelling formats (e.g., dashboards, reports, presentations) tailored to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with teams across Experience Management, Field Operations, Sales Enablement to share findings and reccomendations.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the right data is available enable seamless analysis.
  • Strategic Impact:
    • Develop recommendations to optimize partner journeys, enhance product experiences, and resolve pain points.
    • Support the creation of metrics like Partner Experience (PSAT) by contributing insights that explain performance drivers.
  • Emerging Technologies and Innovation:
    • Utilize advanced tools, such as speech analytics, LLMs, and CX platforms (e.g., Qualtrics XM, Medallia), to optimize insight generation.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve insights delivery.

Who You Are:

  • 4+ years in an insights, analytics, or data storytelling role, preferably in a B2B or commercial environment.
  • Proven ability to analyze and synthesize diverse datasets into actionable business insights.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills with a talent for crafting narratives that influence decisions and inspire action.
  • Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerPoint, PowerBI) and text/speech analytics platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills, including, sentiment analysis, and topic modelling, ROI analysis.
  • Experience with CX platforms (e.g., Qualtrics XM, Medallia) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and cloud-based data environments.
