Lead Process Manager

Expedia Group’s Architecture & Data Management Group (ADMG) is looking for a motivated individual to manage a key business process within our Architecture Governance team. In this role, you will be leading a regular cadence of activities to achieve key outcomes in collaboration with a cross-functional team from across EG. You’ll drive operational alignment with the Senior Manager and other partners to increase the business impact of your process. What you’ll do:

  • Carry out stages an unambiguous business process, supporting the different phases and stakeholders to improve cycle time and reduce error rate.

  • Lead and mentor others through process steps, as needed.

  • Define and track business metrics

  • Be an advocate of your impact, ensuring wide broadcast of your achievements.

  • Develop roadmaps, define milestones, and prioritize tasks to deliver intended objectives within the agreed timeframes. Identify the types of resources required to achieve an objective and make recommendations for specific people, technology, partners etc.

  • Keep business leads informed of status, any changes to the planned roadmap, and/or any issues that may impact the expected business outcomes.

  • Assess bottlenecks in work processes, identify opportunities for process improvement, and actively seek guidance from the business lead on how to achieve the expected outcomes more efficiently.

  • Compile data and analyze the impact of process changes, then coordinate with team members to execute new ideas or approaches.

  • Foster a team environment where members are comfortable critiquing and suggesting changes to improve processes.

  • Maintain a project backlog with up to date Jira epics and stories. You will assist with documentation of requirements as needed.

  • Demonstrate a willingness and flexibility in your work to be more efficient.

  • Understand the software development lifecycle and the various agile engineering practices.

Who you are:

You’ll fit this role if you have:

  • 5+ years of corporate experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent related professional experience.

  • Demonstrated success in Program Management

  • Demonstrates a critical understanding of functional information (e.g., legal requirements, data/metrics, and technical documentation)

  • Demonstrates a critical understanding of business processes and improvement methodologies

  • Advanced experience with ServiceNow

  • Experience with process automation

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Github, Miro, Office360.

  • Familiar with distributed systems and microservices based architectures

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $137,500.00 to $192,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $220,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
