Launch Team Lead, APAC (Singapore Based)

The APAC Launch Team Lead will report to the Director of Partner Connect, which enables business partnerships to connect with Expedia's travel platform through our global, industry-leading consulting and technical services.
You will be the representative for the team in the APAC region, acting as a lead across all the launch functions. The main responsibilities of the Lead are to oversee all projects from a higher perspective and allocate team resources to meet business needs, optimising the Launch Management processes. As a member of the APAC leadership team, you'll be a link between the business and major stakeholders, driving transparency and strategic initiatives.
What you'll do :
Allocate the team resource to meet APAC Business needs
Ensure each Launch Manager works efficiently with each launch project
Mentor Individual Contributors by providing advice and recommendations based on own experience
Encourage and supports education and professional development of Individual Contributors
Guide Individual Contributors in the development of team and individual goals, providing regular and specific feedback and assessing individual and team performance
Promote collaboration among team members. Encourages others to cooperate and coordinate efforts
Assess Launch process for all projects and its current effectiveness and define new process based on assessment through working with the global team
Develop strategy and vision based on business goals, market opportunities, and product/technology approach, sizing, prioritizing, and creating alignment across the organization
Funnel all launch project results into APAC Leadership Team in a timely manner
Lead a shared project plan with each partner
Raise and Track resourcing/ feature requests across EPS
Liaise directly with 3rd party technology providers who are performing development work on behalf of the partner
Proactively identify and address any delays
Chair routine project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to track progress and ensure success
Schedule kick off calls or workshops with the relevant internal teams and Partners organization
Run the site review process to assess compliance against the launch requirements and take appropriate action internally or with the partner
Track the status of each partner and ensure that all teams understand where the partner is in the launch process documenting risks or issues related to the launch
Help manage the pipeline with the commercial representatives on when launches can take place and be prioritized
Generate Weekly Launch Status Report for the APAC region
Generate Monthly Launch Projects Schedule Analysis - highlighting and addressing the points where delays occurring
Who you are :
8+ years of experience leading Project Management teams
Bachelor's or Master's in related field; or equivalent related professional experience
PMP/PMI or Prince2 Practitioner Certification
Experience managing a geographically dispersed cross-functional team
Experience in delivering results for executive stakeholders
Robust Project and Release Management experience
Track record of delivering positive client experiences
Good interpersonal skills and collaboration with both business and technical teams
Experience with Salesforce CRM, or a similar Cloud based CRM, is highly advantageous
Experience in Process Mapping is highly advantageous
