Manager, Mobility Operations

This is an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Mobility Operations to join the Global Mobility team at Expedia Group! The Global Talent Mobility (GTM) function enables the movement of chosen talent into and within Expedia Group, both internationally and domestically, so that we can Go Get What's Next. GTM is a talent lever that promotes career development, enables skill gaps within the organization to be filled temporarily or permanently, encourages the sharing of knowledge between teams and supports embedding Expedia Group's culture into each location.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee a team of Global Mobility specialists who deliver end-to-end international assignment services whilst ensuring best in class employee/candidate experience
  • Experience administering relocation and immigration requirement/programs
  • Support a team on complex matters and compliance, processing requirements
  • Execute exceptional delivery of Global Mobility support and consistency
  • Partnering with broader People team to establish standard procedures and service level agreements
  • Leveraging case management to create service delivery model to deliver the most effective customer service. Test and learn through feedback
  • Proactive support based on data trends (identification of possible future risks)
  • Managing various maturity levels of process (e.g. implement new, maintain existing and understand where existing processes need improvement)
  • Accountable for team to execute vision and multiple projects to deliver local employee experience
  • Understanding of differing regions and culture dynamics and how this could affect a change
  • Gains stakeholder trust by effectively addressing their concerns to further long-term interests.
  • Partners with vendors and ensures product/service delivery maintains the appropriate
  • Manages workloads to ensure all team members are fully deployed and skills are matched to the work requirements.
  • Keeps abreast with the latest I&D initiatives ad develop a culture of belongingness for all employees.

Who you are:

  • Solution focused and resilient
  • Experience in leading Mobility transformation and process improvement projects
  • Ability to translate complex situations into easy solutions for clear understanding
  • Agile and adaptable in a fast-paced environment/comfortable navigating challenging global People Team space
  • Working knowledge of immigration/mobility/mobility tax policies and processes
  • Measuring and improving employee experiences
  • Ability to lead, manage and mentor staff
  • Strong consulting, partnership and influencing skills

Education

  • 8+ years for Bachelor's
  • 5+ years for Master's

People Management Experience

  • 5+ years
