Expedia Group is looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our Mobile Marketing Acquisition team within the Customer Engagement organization. As a Mobile Marketing Manager, you will be a valued member of our global marketing team responsible for growing our app user base for the Expedia, Hotels.com, Vrbo and our other house brands. You’ll collaborate with the team and cross functionally to effectively convert travelers to our app by highlighting the most compelling reasons to download the app within a coordinated program of innovative placements. This role requires strong marketing acumen, creative thinking and sharp analytical skills. With a laser focus on app growth across the company and at all levels, you’ll be right in the middle the action. 

What you'll do: 

  • Help to define and deliver bold growth targets and get the world’s best travel apps on the phones of millions of global travelers shared across Marketing and Product Marketplace  

  • Monitor, compile and communicate performance across key placements and testing & optimization activities to illustrate how our team’s activities contribute to our KPIs and drive value for the business 

  • Translate performance metrics into actionable insights that accelerate future performance, striving towards continuous optimization  

  • Partner with Analytics team to break down performance drivers and conduct deep dives  

  • Influence roadmap prioritization in collaboration with various product & customer marketing stakeholders with a keen eye on potential performance impact  

  • Coordinate the test & optimization roadmap across new placement tests and optimizations of existing placements  

  • Define and implement processes to streamline the execution of our marketing efforts including planning, measurement and reporting activities  

Who you are: 

  • 3+ years digital marketing experience; experience with app marketing a plus  

  • Passion for app as a platform and engagement vehicle and understanding of the app ecosystem and the unique challenges of driving, tracking and measuring the performance of app install campaigns  

  • Strong marketing acumen, sharp analytical skills, and ability to translate performance data analysis into actionable insights   

  • Adaptable and enjoy a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous working environment   

  • Well organized. Able to prioritize time efficiently and manage multiple projects at once  

  • Creative thinker who views all decisions through a customer experience lens 

  • Understanding of the travel industry a plus  

  • Advanced excel skills (required), experience with Adobe’s Analytics (preferred), and Tableau (preferred)
