Programmatic Media Manager, Partnerships

We are seeking a high performing and motivated Programmatic Media Manager who can consistently apply, and enhance, programmatic media planning and activation buying capabilities, principles, and playbooks to manage high performing media activations that deliver on business objectives and drive new travellers to the Expedia Group portfolio of brands.

Working as part of our exciting, fast paced and innovative in-house media agency and reporting to the Senior Manager, Programmatic Media, you will establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the business to plan and activate programmatic media campaigns across our portfolio of global travel brands.

What you'll do:

  • End-to-end media planning and programmatic activation of co-branded partnership campaigns

  • These include Destination Marketing Organizations, financial services and other organizations leveraging Expedia powered technology

  • Help to define and build strategic opportunities to grow revenue from destination travel partners, through targeted and relevant programmatic media, leveraging Expedia Group audience segmentation capabilities, media targeting and other optimization levers

  • Establish working relationships with key stakeholders from brand partnership and media solutions teams, gaining stakeholder trust by effectively addressing their briefs to further long-term interests

  • Provide Ad-hoc support with other programmatic investment strategies including brand and performance media campaigns, across our global footprint of markets

  • Analyze campaign performance reports to determine which tactics were successful, share campaign insights, and use those learnings to refine future plans

  • Hands on activation, campaign management and optimization through in-house suite of media buying platforms, including Google DV360 and The Trade Desk

  • Manage relationships with media partners and publishers to develop effective plans, negotiate to improve media efficiency, and identify custom partnership opportunities

  • Trafficking creative for campaign launches in a timely fashion and ensuring high quality of ad delivery

  • Optimize media campaigns in-flight as required to drive continual improvement in performance against goals

Who you are:

  • 6+ years’ experience in digital media roles in media, trading desk or in-house teams

  • Experience with large budgets, multiple markets and metrics, collaborating across teams

  • Experience planning media across multiple ad formats and media vendors

  • Hands on experience with programmatic platforms preferred (DV360, The Trade Desk)

  • Able to support taking media briefs, managing and optimizing campaigns and reporting on effectiveness and efficiency of activities/campaigns

  • Ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities and work with multiple team members

  • A strong communicator

  • Experience working in Agile methodologies and practices preferred
