Senior Analyst, Marketing Finance

The Senior Analyst, Marketing Finance will play a crucial role in providing financial insights and support to our team. This role involves in-depth analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making for our marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.

What you’ll do:

Financial Analysis

• Conduct detailed financial analysis on marketing spend, performance, and ROI.

• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate the profitability and efficiency of marketing strategies.

• Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management.

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for the marketing department.

• Monitor and analyze actual performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.

• Work closely with marketing teams to develop accurate forecasts and financial plans.

• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to evaluate the financial impact of new campaigns and promotional activities.

Process Improvement:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting and analysis.

• Develop and refine financial tools and dashboards to support real-time decision-making.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with other finance teams, marketing, and data analytics to ensure alignment and consistency in financial planning and reporting.

• Support ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as required by senior management.

Who you are:

• Bachelors' degree in Statistics, Economics or Analytics, Masters' in related field is a plus

• 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within marketing finance or related

• Hands-on experience in writing SQL queries and data visualisation tools like Tableau, PowerBI

• Analytic, modeling, forecasting and presentation skills

• Solid interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work across levels and functions

• Ability to interpret and present data in a visually compelling format to financial and non-financial audiences

• Comfortable working with ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
