Are you a brilliant and inspiring copy editor, looking for your next opportunity to develop a team of copywriters creatively? Are you a leader in email copy studio process with an ability to analyse how things are working to make overall improvements?
We are looking for an expert in email and loyalty copywriting to direct and make world-class marketing assets that create a 'buzz' and drive customer engagement and / or acquisition. This role will have a huge impact on functional strategy and will determine the team strategy to accomplish team/departmental goals.
What you'll do:
Manage the coordination of team or departmental activities with the responsibility for results, including costs, strategy and staffing
Consistently apply, and regularly enhance, the creative marketing capabilities, principles and playbooks to tackle the most complex business challenges and opportunities
Develop advanced creative ideas in response to briefs and influence briefs leveraging creative experience
Plan and implement marketing and communication strategies for products and focused markets that support organizational and brand objectives
Develop action plans for optimal resource utilization and manage financial/material resource usage among team
Scope/write agency Statements of Work (SOWs)
Coordinate project plan across functions and competing timelines from other projects
Integrate timelines and milestones across projects, identifying areas of synergy or dependency
Lead development of strategies to get assigned project done amidst opposing needs for resources and development external to the project being delivered
Recognize staff potential and guide employees in developing skills by recommending appropriate training and sources of information and seeking mentorship opportunities for direct reports
Determine actual or potential gaps in resourcing for projects and recommend strategies to mitigate
Encourage others to assess the potential impact of resource decisions related to efficiency and cost reduction
Share domain and industry knowledge between cross-functional teams
Promote collaboration among team members
Review the skill and expertise requirements to accomplish team goals and identify, attract and select diverse and high-caliber staffing and talent resources to fill project roles
Attract and select diverse and high-caliber talent
Identify strategic issues and raise questions to help customers and other stakeholders explore, understand and address their wider business challenges
Who you are:
A significant number of years' experience managing and leading larger scale, global creative marketing projects
People-management experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent professional experience
Has established portfolio of work demonstrating range of ability
Capable of managing more complex campaign creative, applying creative strategic thinking
Expert on wider creative landscape and has full mastery of branding, including the application positioning and identity
Understands measurement and performance and develops methodologies for optimizing execution
Demonstrates expertise by editing and reviewing content of material for publication and dissemination, ensuring clarity and consistency of messaging
Utilizes thorough understanding of current business objectives, processes and challenges to recommend and match solutions to meet unique business needs and achieve objectives
Establishes trusted working relationships with stakeholders internally/externally and builds rapport to become a trusted advisor
