We are looking for a dynamic, motivated leader tojoin the Hotels Business Unit at Expedia Brandsas aSenior Director for Hotels.com. This role will be responsible foridentifying direction to drive growth and optimize business resultsfor Hotels.com, which is one of the largest brands in the Expedia portfolio with a fiercely loyal customer base.

This requires aleaderthat is curious, fearless and a strong bias to action anddeliver results. You will have regular and frequent interaction with senior leadership across theorganization andwill need to maintain strong alignment andcross functionalpartnerships to ensure that the overall Hotels.com business is well planned, understood, communicated, and effectively executed.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive and monitor P&L performance for Hotels.com to deliver annual plan

  • Define and execute overall strategy in close coordination with marketing, supply and product & tech teams

  • Identify growth opportunities,evaluatetrade-offs, and lead cross functionalteams across Expedia Group to enable executionfor successfuloutcomes, e.g. optimizing cross channel investmentstrategy to align profitability with growth and marketplace needs

Who you are:

  • 16+ years ofbusinessmanagement,ecommerce,strategy,and P&L managementexperience

  • Innovative and strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity to solutions: prior experiences tackling vague problems, crisply framing the challenges, identifying a path forward, and driving execution to the finish-line 

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence and alignstakeholdersto achieve successful businessoutcomeswithout direct organizationalauthority

  • Motivated by goal achievement and continuous improvement, with enthusiasm and strive to motivate your team and the wider organization 

  • Curious and passionate, with a desire to continuously learn more, which you use to understand business operations and the levers that drive profitable growth 

  • Bachelor's degree (Finance, Business Management,Economics)and MBAstrongly preferred

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $261,500.00 to $366,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $418,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
