Senior Financial Analyst, Traveler Engagement and Loyalty Finance

We are looking for a highly motivated, commercially minded, and analytical Senior Finance Analyst to join the Traveler Engagement and Loyalty Finance Team. The team works hand-in-hand with leaders across all of Expedia Group's B2C brands to understand the customer and to resolve both how and when to engage with them.

The role holder will drive strategic insight and commercial value through strong business partner relationships, using data and business judgement to support Expedia Groups journey towards a traveler focused organization.

What You'll Do

• Business partnering - you will work closely with Expedia Groups Travel Engagement and Loyalty teams to understand customer economics, re-define a holistic incentives process, develop performance indicators, and apply business judgment and financial insights to assist with decision making

• You will use sophisticated financial modelling and analytics to identify strategic opportunities to support your business partners new initiatives, and measure progress on critical goals

• Conduct periodic reviews to analyze the business' current and historic performance to add high quality insight into the underlying drivers behind performance at every stage of the customer lifecycle

• Identify levers and market opportunities for growth

• You will build business cases and internal pitch materials to gain consensus from senior leadership

• Provide key inputs into near and long-term financial forecasts and understand the impact on forecast of any business decisions

Who You Are

• BS/BA or MS/MA in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or any similar field with an excellent academic record; or Equivalent Experience

• Finance experience in Banking / Consulting / Accounting / Corporate Finance or FP&A

• Highly analytical, going beyond the traditional functions of finance, driving insight and strategy with proven record of success in supporting commercial initiatives

• You have strong SQL skills or a willingness to learn. The ability to self-serve and analyze data will make you much more impactful in this role

• Proficiency in Excel, your models are efficient, scalable, and stunningly simple

• Ability to establish effective relationships and influence senior colleagues across various functions and time zones

• You possess the ability to distil sophisticated analyses and nuanced problems into simple, logical frameworks with concrete action plans
