Senior Manager, US Market Activation

The Expedia Group Geos Team is responsible for the regional performance and growth of Expedia’s business, actively partnering with multiple teams across our dynamic organization. We are currently seeking an experienced and results oriented e-commerce professional to drive the US key growth initiatives across a portfolio of Expedia Group brands.

In the Senior Manager US Market Activation role, you will have the opportunity to have a finger on the pulse of the travel industry. Using our rich and highly detailed market insights and performance trends, you will activate new projects and capabilities to grow and strengthen Expedia Group’s business in our flagship market. You will drive the prioritization and coordination of critical business initiatives across a matrixed organization, working with various teams to close gaps and identify new opportunities. Additionally, you will contribute to the local strategy and growth for the region while working hand-in-hand with brand and performance marketing, product, lodging/air supply, partnerships, analytics and customer service teams.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the US market strategy and prioritization across Expedia Group brands

  • Identify growth avenues and key enablers by analyzing comprehensive insights on our customers, partners, competitors, and market

  • Develop and lead project plans. Gain stakeholders buy-in, organize execution and delivery roadmaps, and define KPIs to ensure accountability

  • Share best practices across global Geos teams to build an effective activation toolkit

Who you are:

  • 7+ years industry experience (travel or consumer e-commerce preferred)

  • Master’s in any related field; or equivalent related professional experience

  • Performance Marketing and/or Commercial Strategy experience preferred

  • Proven record of delivering complex cross-functional projects end-to-end with positive ROI

  • Master influencer and storyteller

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and change

  • Extensive project management and presentation development experience

  • Experience with business case sizing to feed into agile product management workstreams

  • SME with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau
