Your goal will be to enable your product management team to build and enhance a data product called EG User Attribute Store that enables 360-degree view of a user at EG. User Attribute Store (UAS) contains data related to the user business domain entity that coordinate with the business capabilities. Our Attribute Stores support data lake, attribute store API and Streaming access patterns.
We believe that our enterprise data platform is a fundamental enabler for our vision of delivering the world’s best travel platform. As the Senior Product Manager, User Attribute Store, you will lead the UAS vision, strategy and roadmaps for Data Product Engineering within Expedia Group.
What you'll do:
You will create a set of qualitative and quantitative measures to drive performance across an existing product area
You will use frameworks to align stakeholders and leadership on product direction/key decisions. Effectively influence for best outcomes
You will generate new ideas for developing deeper customer insights (i.e. new research topics and methods, new data sources, etc.) including ways to better quantify insights and build/utilize feedback loops
You will develop the product strategy, roadmap and go-to-market plan
You will exhibit storytelling and persuasive influencing techniques that build trust with team and partners and establish long-term relationships
You will work with numerous stakeholders to holistically define a complex problem space, desired customer and business outcomes and effective solutions
Who you are:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience
Strong Product Management experience owning multiple, unrelated product areas including developing the product strategy, roadmap and go-to-market plan
Demonstrates a critical understanding of business processes and challenges, developing solutions to meet unique business needs and objectives
Able to effectively drive and evaluate idea creation of new ideas, methods, products and solutions that support the business
Establish relationships and trust with others by being transparent
Embrace challenges, persist, and learn through support and feedback
Experience in product management of data platforms, attribute stores and adjacent technologies
