Senior Supply Analyst

The role will involve close collaboration with various departments and regions across the organisation, communicating with stakeholders of different levels of seniority. Additionally, you are expected to manage different level of escalations effectively and professionally and play a key role in training and developing the Supply Support Analysts.

The Supply team sits in a unique position, objectively contributing to both Expedia Group and EPS OKRs. We have seen notable growth over the past years making it a great next career step for the right candidate.

What you'll do:

  • Gather feedback from internal stakeholders regarding partner dynamics and processes to drive partner efficiencies and communicate that feedback internally to help drive continuous improvement

  • Provide ongoing input to Senior Management in developing effective and scalable solutions to improve process efficiencies

  • Provide support in resolving complex and difficult supply scenarios to assist EPS sales in our partnerships with EPS partners

  • Educate various teams across the organization about the EPS business, Expedia's hotel supply system and our team’s supply support function

  • Train and mentor new hires, whilst updating existing team members as changes occur  

  • Maintain and report on status of the supply support process, with objective to surface obstacles such as reoccurring issues, alongside opportunities to improve operational practices

  • Maintain in-depth understanding of assigned systems e.g. Expedia's hotel supply system, EPS support system (Zendesk), etc. and associated business commercial impact

  • Coordinate with EPS and other EG internal teams to escalate issues of technical and business nature for proactive improvements and drive to resolution

  • Monitor and direct resources to ensure SLA, KPI’s for quality, timeliness, productivity and escalation criteria are met

  • Maintain accuracy and quality of team Knowledge Base

  • Responsible for reporting platform, as well as ad-hoc report requests from leadership

Who you are:

  • Experience in Hotel/Travel -industry experience preferred

  • Having experience in a support oriented industry

  • Communication: you adapt your communication style dependent upon who you are speaking to and are able to manage difficult conversations and conflict

  • You have proven ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks and tight deadlines with confidence and ease

  • You recognize that close teamwork and cross-departmental coordination is a key for success

  • Proactive at own initiative with good business judgement

  • Competent with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and is adept at picking up new systems

  • Independently driven to learn new applications, technologies, and keep up to date on new features/information

  • Have attention to detail, diligence and follow-through

  • Skilled problem-solver analyst that enjoys a challenge

  • Be highly effective in managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Fluent proficiency & comprehension in English required, other languages are a plus

  • Professional, “get it done” attitude and work ethic, proactive follow-up skills

  • Other duties as assigned from time to time
