Senior UX Designer

And hence, this team is in it’s growth spurt phase where you will play a very key role in contributing to experience innovation and growth that we are gearing up for in the coming 3 years.

A senior UX designer in EG is focused on solving complex traveler problems throughout the E2E traveler journey, which spans across our multiple line of business, brands and geos. At Insurtech, you would be responsible for creating traveler led experience solutions which are deeply embedded in the experiences of our shopping as well as the post-purchase journeys and design them keeping scalability and the nuances insurtech user needs in mind. In your role, you would be responsible for partnering deeply with our product, research, analytics and ML teams to come up with innovative and differentiating insurtech experiences for our global travelers.

What you will do:

  • Demonstrates expertise in various methods for facilitating the gathering and synthesizing of diverse insights in complex, ambiguous problem spaces

  • Plans, oversees, and provides mentorship on problem-framing work at the program level

  • Builds and drives compelling customer experience vision, strategy, and success metrics at the program level

  • Expertly facilitates idea generation and evaluation with stakeholders, and mentors others in doing the same

  • Mentors and is a role model for exemplary visual and interaction design practice

  • Champions simple, elegant experiences and holds themselves and others accountable to a high-quality bar for design execution

  • Facilitates collaboration with different stakeholders with varied perspectives and strives for optimum organizational efficiency by aligning goals across boundaries and making recommendations about changes/approaches

  • Takes a whole systems approach to analyze customer problems and implements holistic solutions by ensuring linkages between customer touchpoints, structure, process, and technology are made

  • Defines foundational layers of the system

  • Guides the design of components, and patterns and drives optimizations for flexibility, reuse, usability, performance, brand distinction, and visual appeal

  • Applies advanced concepts around modularity, reusability, progressive enhancement, browser fallbacks, and state and conditional logic

  • Develop persuasive communication materials and storytelling techniques that build trust with partners and establish long-term relationships

  • Models effective use of design feedback

  • Guides others on best practices and approaches for clear, concise, and organized communication

  • Applies and adapts design and research processes to manage large/complex problem areas

  • Uses both qualitative and quantitative insights of customer research and data and business analytics to drive design solutions

  • Consistently creates solutions that match customer needs and problems

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related fields (Design, Human - Computer Interaction, User Experience or similar ); or equivalent related professional experience

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in field of design

  • Excellent visual and verbal communication skills. Proficient in strategy, planning and conducting workshops etc.

  • Proven experience working through a product cycle from inception to release, leading work under tight deadlines

  • Track record of successfully leading critical projects, managing cross company coordination and communication

  • Self-motivated Individual, ready to work in fast paced environment
