As Expedia’s Media Solutions team, we build advertising products that deliver value to travelers by providing useful relevant information from advertising partners. Media solutions is responsible for building scalable advertising solutions that are delivered across all EG Brands in all EG Markets globally.
We are looking for an experienced product manager for our global Media Solutions team. Our ideal candidate will have successfully led multiple web based technology products, preferably in digital marketing and/or e-commerce. The successful candidate will own high impact products and capabilities and collaborate across a diverse set of stakeholders to build innovative new advertising products. This is a key position to drive the product strategy and portfolio for media solutions.
What you’ll do:
Deliver advertising products that solve traveler problems and deliver value to our advertising partners.
Own the vision, strategy, execution and management of ad products across EG Brands globally.
Collaborate across product groups, brands, engineering, analytics, sales and operations to develop, test and launch new advertising products.
Dig deep into data and analytics to formulate strong product hypotheses and justification. Work across multiple data and platform tools to track performance, implement tests and monitor products
Communicate and influence effectively at M and N level independently and for leadership/ executive level with guidance
Champion customer empathy - Study the product, customer, market, and technology trends, and be a SME for Media Solutions and digital advertising.
Actively seek diverse feedback on work and anticipate feedback to address it proactively
Develop, report, and continually improve business performance metrics
Who you are:
Have 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, online advertising or technology
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills rooted in data.
Experience working in E-Commerce and/or the online advertising space.
Ability to work directly with UX and engineering teams to provide detailed product requirements and goals.
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs, managing roadmaps across multiple stakeholders, including working closely with tech teams from design to ship
Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and stakeholders simultaneously and ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired
Experience with end-to-end product delivery, overseeing roadmap strategy and definition, contributing to discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a platform product
Known for superior communications skills with high attention to detail
Master’s in Business Administration ; or in a related technical field; or equivalent professional experience
Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with attention to detail and organizational skills
Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop project business cases
Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
