The Performance and Insights team at Expedia Group unleashes the power of data to help our supply partners optimize the performance of their properties and improve their offerings and services, enabling them to provide travelers the best experience on one of the biggest travel web sites in the world.

We are looking for a driven, upbeat, intellectually curious, collaborative Program Manager with technical chops to join our dynamic and energized team. We believe in lean development, making iterative improvements and getting customer feedback early and often. What you’ll do: 

  • Apply the software development lifecycle and the various agile engineering practices that can be used (e.g., in planning, requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, acceptance testing) 

  • Work with your peers to define requirements as needed, build the project schedule, track and report on project details, and maintain program/project documentation and corresponding meetings as needed

  • Collaborate with Product Managers to define metrics for our business outcomes and measure project success against those metrics 

  • Responsible for mitigation plans for risk management and lead technical projects under supervision 

  • Independently complete tasks and/or provide data to support implementation of well-rounded solutions that forge linkages between structure, people, process and technology

  • Identify areas where efficiency and process improvement are needed within your own work area 

  • Understand current business environment & objectives

  • Seek relevant information to ensure your own understanding of complex information 

Who you are: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related Technical field; or Equivalent related professional experience  

  • 3+ years’ experience running technology-related programs using agile development techniques

  • Demonstrate an understanding of functional technical information (e.g. user flows, technical system design and workflows) 

  • Clearly and expertly articulates decision-making rationale, solutions, methodologies and frameworks to team members and both technical and non-technical partners  

  • Proactively contributes to cross team discussions ensuring the best available information is included in analysis and shares findings with peers and leaders
