Senior Consumer Insights Manager – Brand Lead

We create and deliver tailored marketing strategies for Expedia Group’s brands, focusing on establishing strong connections and cohesive experiences for travelers and partners. We leverage our functional expertise and creative excellence to build trust and loyalty for our brands through innovative marketing approaches and technology.

Expedia Group’s Traveler Research and Insights Team is seeking a Senior Consumer Insights Manager to help build traveler-centric brands through strategic research and actionable insights.

As a Senior Consumer Insights Manager, you will be the strategic insights lead for one of our flagship brands within our house of brands. You’ll partner closely with marketing, creative, and cross-functional teams to ensure brand strategies, communications, and experiences are rooted in traveler truths. This role is pivotal in shaping how our brands connect with travelers and drive business impact.

In this role, you will:

  • Represent the voice of the Traveler across brand forums and strategic initiatives to ensure the traveler is at the center of decision making

  • Partner with marketing, analytics, product, and loyalty to translate needs into actionable learning plans that are aligned to business priorities.

  • Develop rich insights that are at the center of our decision making, informing brand strategy, creative development, and marketing activations

  • Act as the central insights hub for the brand Expedia business, connecting signals across teams to shape strategic direction

  • Flawlessly execute global primary research initiatives (both qualitative and quantitative) that effectively answer complex and strategic business questions

  • Deliver compelling data-driven narratives that influence business decisions at the senior level (VP and above)

  • Oversee external research partners and champion innovative methodologies

  • Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of curiosity and excellence

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in consumer research and insights, ideally across both agency and client-side roles

  • Proven expertise in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies and advanced analytics

  • Strong communicator with the ability to craft clear, engaging stories from complex data that inspire action and drive business results

  • Experience working in matrixed organizations with heavy cross-functional collaboration and evolving priorities.

  • Comfortable navigating a fast-paced, global organization with evolving priorities

  • Excellent project manager with the ability to juggle multiple work-streams and maintain attention to detail

  • Passionate about travelers and committed to building brands that resonate deeply with their needs

  • Experience integrating multiple data sources (e.g., analytics, VoC, operational data) into unified insights

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $155,000.00 to $217,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $248,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
