- Learning Experiences - In addition to development coming from activities on the job, other ways to learn are through experiential opportunities, Udemy courses, and programs in Workday Learning.
Gigs
Gigs empower Expedians to explore new projects, and even join new teams.
- Project gigs are short-term development experiences that offer the opportunity to enhance existing skills or acquire new ones through project-based work. Expedians work with another team for up to 20% of their time over a period of up to 6 months.
- Rotation gigs are full-time experiences where Expedians temporarily step into a new job, assume different role expectations, and work with a new team for a duration of 6-12 months.These experiences can be a game-changer, providing Expedians with the chance to gain valuable insights. They serve as stepping stones that can unlock longer-term career goals.

Responding to Disasters
When disasters strike, addressing immediate needs is paramount. But disaster giving cannot end there. Expedia is proud to partner with the Center for Disaster Philanthropy (CDP) to fund medium- and long-term recovery with an equity-focus. We contribute to CDP’s ongoing work in the U.S. through local and global donations.
