Senior Director, Software Development Engineering

We are seeking a transformational Senior Director, Financial Systems to lead the next generation of enterprise finance technology. This role sits at the center of our global finance transformation, responsible for building a modern financial systems platform powered by Oracle Cloud ERP, intelligent automation, and AI-driven workflows. The leader in this role will reimagine how finance operates at enterprise scale leveraging AI, agentic systems, and advanced automation to dramatically increase productivity, accelerate financial operations, and unlock faster decision-making.

You will lead a global organization of 70+ engineers and technologists across the U.S. and India, responsible for mission-critical finance platforms that support the company’s core financial operations. This leadership role has broad organizational impact. The right leader combines deep enterprise platform expertise, strong technical judgment, and exceptional cross-organizational leadership to drive complex transformations and build systems that scale for the next decade.

In this role, you will:

· Enterprise Finance Platform Strategy

Define and execute the long-term strategy for the company’s global financial systems architecture, enabling a modern, intelligent finance platform that scales with the business. Core platform ownership includes:
- Oracle Cloud ERP

- Treasury platforms

- Coupa (Source-to-Pay)

- Global bank integrations

- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

- Enterprise inbound and outbound finance integrations

- Boundary systems supporting financial workflows

You will ensure these platforms operate with high reliability, strong financial controls, and enterprise-grade scalability, while enabling rapid innovation.

· AI-Powered Finance Transformation

Lead the transformation of traditional finance processes into AI-enabled operating models. This includes:

- Applying AI and agentic AI systems to automate complex financial workflows.

- Accelerating close, reconciliation, and reporting processes through intelligent automation.

- Enabling finance teams with AI-driven insights and decision support.

- Building platforms that integrate AI-native capabilities directly into finance operations.

- Partnering with data and AI teams to establish a modern finance intelligence layer.

- Your mandate is to fundamentally reshape finance productivity, enabling teams to move faster while maintaining strong governance and accuracy.

· Global Engineering Leadership

Lead and scale a high-performing global organization of 70+ engineers and technologists across the United States and India.

- Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and inclusion.

- Develop strong engineering leaders and domain experts.

- Drive operational excellence across delivery, architecture, and platform reliability.

- Establish mechanisms that enable high-velocity execution at enterprise scale.

This organization will operate as a strategic technology partner to Finance, not simply a support function.

· Cross-Company Influence

This role requires deep partnership across the company. You will work closely with:

- Finance, Accounting, and Treasury Leadership

- Product and Technology

- Data and AI teams

- Security and compliance organizations

You will regularly influence VP and executive-level stakeholders to align on technology strategy, investment priorities, and transformation initiatives.

Experience and Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience leading enterprise technology or financial systems organizations

• 8+ years leading large global engineering teams

• Proven track record delivering large-scale ERP or enterprise finance transformations

• -Deep experience with enterprise financial platforms and system integrations

• Strong technical judgment in platform architecture and distributed systems

• Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-organizational initiatives

• Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep experience with Oracle Cloud ERP ecosystems Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and enterprise integration platforms

• Experience with Coupa, treasury systems, and global banking integrations

• Demonstrated success applying AI or automation to enterprise business processes

• Experience building high-performing global engineering teams

• Experience in large-scale enterprise or Fortune 500 environments

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $296,000.00 to $414,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $473,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
