Sr Development Program Specialist - Emerging Talent

In our global Emerging Talent and Careers team, we are responsible for engaging, hiring and developing a diverse base of talent across Expedia Group, globally. This includes hiring and developing interns, apprentices and university graduates from a myriad of backgrounds and cultures across three continents. We are on a journey to transform how we empower early in career talent and breaking down barriers on our way.

We are looking for an experienced Sr Development Programs specialist based in London to combine their passion for emerging talent and talent management to build market leading program experiences for our early career hires. What you’ll do:

Working as part of our Emerging Talent Global Design and Experience team you will contribute to the design, build and implementation of our Intern and Graduate Programs. You will partner closely with our global team in the US and India. As part of this role you will:

  • Deliver an excellent employee experience to Early Careers hires in India through our Intern and Graduate programs; consider the candidate experience and learning journey in everything you do
  • Partner with global counterparts to design and deliver our Summer Internship Program and Expedia Group Graduate Program onboarding and program delivery
  • Organise, coordinate and support an engaging calendar of events that include skills sessions, leadership talks, panels, intern project showcase and social events
  • Maintain effective relationships and pastoral care with employees throughout their program experiences
  • Educate and support hiring managers throughout the program experience, delivering training and becoming a subject matter expert to help answer questions
  • Partner with key business stakeholders to understand business context when designing program offerings
  • Ensure robust data tracking across all programs, identifying insights and trends and storytelling through data
  • Act as regional point of contact for global projects across the Early Careers team eg. candidate swag; build partnership with external suppliers and vendors and manage invoicing process
  • Work collaboratively, putting the goals of the team and business first, embodying Expedia Group's Mission, Purpose & Values
  • Champion inclusion and belonging, putting it at the heart of the program experience

  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and are excited by chances to define and build something from nothing
  • You are confident in partnering with and influencing senior business stakeholders.
  • You are passionate about embedding inclusion and belonging into the employee experience
  • You know what good talent management looks like for Emerging Talent candidates and you are familiar with Emerging Talent/university recruitment processes
